1) When deciding to sell your own apartment, were you concerned or worried about the process?

My wife and I decided to sell our apartment as a for sale by owner. We had done so before but never in the NYC market. We were definitely concerned. Specifically, we were concerned about marketing the apartment, hosting prospective buyers and then negotiating without the assistance of our broker.

2) How did your membership with No Brokers Please address your concerns about selling FSBO?

We are so thankful to have chosen NBP. Working with Thomas far exceeded our expectations. We sent him multiple questions per day and he responded so thoughtfully and quickly. He advised us from the outset on the language for our listing and then through the final negotiations. The process was actually fun and exciting and, in large part, due to our knowledge that Thomas was always available for advice. We could not have been more pleased!

3) Did you find selling your own apartment difficult with No Brokers Please Membership?

It was way easier than we expected. The website is so clear and easy to use. The automatic updates to Streeteasy ensured our apartment was optimally marketed. Streeteasy even had a few glitches and NBP took care of communicating with them to have the issues fixed immediately.

4) How did the consulting with an "Active Broker" help you sell your apartment?

NBP provided us with on-going guidance that helped us to feel very confident through out the selling process

5) Do you have any advice or comments for others considering selling FSBO?

The process feels daunting and once you are through it you realize how easy it actually is. We had multiple offers within 24 hours of our open house and were committed to a buyer within 48 hours after the open house.

Since the zillow take over , the price to place a fsbo ad on Street Easy has now climbed to a high of 595 per month. Originally it was 199 per month. What we look to do here is create a base for FSB
